All orders are fulfilled directly by our trusted supplier, Rich Solar, ensuring reliable delivery straight to your door. We strive to make your shopping experience efficient and transparent. Please review the details below for our shipping and returns policies.
Order Processing
- All orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation (excluding weekends and holidays).
- Once your order is placed with us, we promptly submit it to Rich Solar for fulfillment using your provided shipping address.
- During peak periods or high order volumes, processing may take an additional 1-2 days. If there's a significant delay, we'll notify you via email.
- Backordered or out-of-stock items may extend processing times; we'll inform you if this affects your order.
Shipping Methods and Delivery Times
- We ship exclusively within the contiguous United States.
- Standard shipping is handled by Rich Solar using carriers such as FedEx or USPS.
- Typically, orders take between 1-3 business days to arrive after shipment. However, weather, traffic, carrier troubles, or other unforeseen circumstances can affect shipping times.
- Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control. We are not responsible for such delays.
- International shipping is not currently available. If you are outside the contiguous US, please contact us at info@solarpunkit.com for potential alternatives.
Shipping Costs
- Standard shipping is free for all orders within the contiguous United States.
- All prices exclude any applicable taxes, duties, or customs fees, which are the customer's responsibility (though typically not applicable for domestic US shipments).
- We reserve the right to charge additional fees for address changes after shipment (e.g., rerouting) or failed delivery attempts, as imposed by the carrier.
Tracking Your Order
- Once your order ships from Rich Solar's warehouse, you'll receive a shipment confirmation email with your tracking number.
- Tracking information typically becomes active within 24 hours. You can monitor your package directly on the carrier's website.
- If your package is marked as delivered but you haven't received it, please check secure locations, with neighbors, or contact the carrier directly. We recommend providing a secure delivery address to prevent theft.
Damaged, Lost, or Incorrect Shipments
- Inspect your package upon arrival. If it's damaged, note it on the delivery receipt, take detailed photos (including packaging), and contact us at info@solarpunkit.com within 7 business days to initiate a claim.
- For lost or stolen packages after delivery confirmation, please file a claim with the carrier. SolarpunkIt is not liable for packages once marked as delivered.
- If you receive an incorrect or short shipment, notify us within 7 business days with photos and details for resolution.
Returns and Refunds
- We accept returns for new, unused items in their original packaging (including all accessories) within 30 calendar days of your purchase date.
- To initiate a return:
- Email us at info@solarpunkit.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos if applicable.
- We'll coordinate with Rich Solar to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) on your behalf.
- Once approved, ship the item back to the address provided by Rich Solar using your preferred carrier.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs and any damage during transit back to Rich Solar. We recommend insuring the package and using trackable shipping.
- A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund to cover processing.
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5-10 business days after Rich Solar receives and inspects the returned item.
- Non-returnable items include: used, installed, or damaged products; items returned after 30 days; special-order or custom products.
- Exchanges follow the same process: Return the original item for a refund (minus restocking fee), then place a new order for the replacement.
- For warranty issues, please contact us—we'll assist in submitting claims through Rich Solar's warranty process.
Local Pickup
- Local pickup is available at Rich Solar's Norco, California location for eligible orders. Select this option at checkout if applicable.
- You'll need to provide a copy of your driver's license and order confirmation upon arrival. Payment can be made on-site via cash or credit card if not prepaid.
- Once you sign for pickup, product responsibility transfers to you, and SolarpunkIt is not liable for any subsequent issues.
Additional Notes
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion, including those that appear fraudulent or exceed quantity limits.
